ECONOMIC GROWTH SLOWING IN U.S

The U.S. economy grew more strongly than suspected at the end of 1994. The Commerce Dept. said that real GDP g rew at an annualized rate of 5.1% in the fourth quarter of 1994, rather than 4.6% as previously estimated.
